FAQs
More FAQs- Are there instructions to follow after my hard-surface floors are cleaned?
- Are all your employees background checked?
- When will I be able to walk on the carpet after it has been cleaned?
Before you walk on your floors, it’s best to allow drying time of at least 4 hours but we recommend 8 hours. Be cautious and protect floors from getting wet for 24 hours after application of either finish as it is not yet thoroughly cured. You can return furniture to your floors (with suggested use of felt pads) after 24 hours and return rugs to floors after 24 hours.
We recognize that security and trust are a paramount concern, so at ServiceMaster Clean of Thunder Bay we have taken an added step to help ensure compliance with customer needs by developing the Clearance Chek’d certification program to help preserve the peace of mind of our customers. Clearance Chek’d is a high-level Police and Criminal Record Check combined with Identity and Previous Employment Verification. Janitorial staff working on your cleaning program will have (ID verified & clean criminal record) clearance via this Program.
This depends on whether a low-moisture encapsulation or a deep clean of your carpet has been applied. However, a general rule of thumb is to allow a drying time of six to eight hours before you can walk on your carpet.
